Page Rank or Google PR is calculated by the amount, relevancy and quality of other website linking back to your website. There are many types of back linking techniques- some that help more than others. One main thing to keep in mind is to make sure you’re having your back links placed in content of a relevant web page.
What are Back links? Simply put they are links that point back to your website. You may have done link exchanges in the past or strategically placed links with specific anchor text in other blogs, forums, comments, press releases or received them from the greatness of the website that you have. However you received them you want to make sure that all your links (wherever placed) are mimicking your keyword list for what you want to rank for.

If your link was on some Alpaca farm site it would have no relevance and offer no value to their traffic.
What are quality back links? Any links that are from a higher PR and that is relevant. Google has made it very clear that relevant back links to your site greatly influences their ranking method.
Where can I find good back links? All over and it’s pretty simple actually. Of course you can find great links in content at LinkXL.com, they are relevant and affordable and you can find the amount you are looking for quickly and they are automatically placed with the publisher sites. You may want to start looking in Google or Yahoo! by search your main keyword phrases and see who ranks in the top ten or twenty. Look for Blogs and Wikis, directories that are relevant to your products and services. Read up on their site and carefully examine on why they rank where they do- look at their back links in Yahoo! and see who is linking to them. Why are they getting all the links that they are?
Remember that by managing a quality site with frequently updated content you will become an authority in your industry online. That will promote business, your reputation and natural back links from other sites pointing to you as the leader.
