We have discussed how contextual text links are great for the advertiser – but what about for the publisher site? When the LinkXL system was developed we had one mantra – to provide a text link advertising vehicle that would make Publishers, Advertiser, and the search engines happy. With much hard work we believe we accomplished that goal.
LinkXL contextual text links offer Publishers many advantage over traditional footer or sidebar advertising:
· You will not be tagged as a link seller because of obvious chunks of paid links on your high PR pages
· By not being identified as a link seller your website will continue to pass “link love”
· Advertisers will renew because they are getting a text link ad with actual value
· You will be able to sell links in your content across 100s or 1,000s of pages rather then a few high PR pages
LinkXL is an amazing opportunity for publishers because our system allows you to easily sell relevant links across thousands of pages instead of limiting your sales to a few high PR page. If you have hundreds of web pages with great content and average just $10 in link sales on each page you can easily make over $1,000 per month in text ad revenue.
Of course, it will take a few months to sell that many relevant links across your website, but if you price your link advertising fairly you can count on an increasing, reoccurring revenue stream each month.
Remember, ALL of you pages have value. Sell links on PR0 search engine cached pages of your site for $2 - $5 per link, advertisers will be happy to buy links on indexed relevant web pages. On your higher PR pages, LinkXL allows you to adjust your price upwards.
The key to successfully selling website advertising is to - Make sure your advertisers are happy.
When advertisers can find relevant links on your website at a fair price they will be happy, and when your advertisers are happy, you will be happy.
